Note: This is the last batch of the temperature controller. I will only create another batch if there is sufficient demand - please contact me for further information.
The aftermarket plastic available for 3D printing tends to extrude better at lower temperatures.
The UP! Plus and UP! Plus 2 printers do not allow you to control the extrude temperature, so I designed this removable plug-and-play module to allow you to set the temperature manually.
I have had reports of the unit working on the UP! Mini and UP! Box, however I do not have either of those machines so can not directly support any installation questions.
The offset is programmable from -70 to +30 Degrees C. That is 200 to 300 in ABS mode and 130 to 230 in PLA mode.
There is a 128x64 OLED display that shows the current and target temperatures, the mode and a graph of the previous 5 minutes.
Latest User Manual.
There are at least two versions of the UP+, the original one with a 14-pin header and a later one with a 16-pin header on the extruder.
Please be sure to order the correct version for your machine.
If you are unsure, please take a photo of the extruder PCB and e-mail me.
v3.0.2 is now shipping, which has a slightly different layout and a better integrated OLED screen (see photos 1 and 2).
